R&D Delivery System

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop the mechanical aspects of a delivery system for a cardiac medical device.
• Create design specifications, complete mechanical designs, and prepare for production.
• Collaborate with external vendors for design assistance, component selection, manufacturing, and assembly.
• Conduct and analyze R&D and verification tests, write test reports, and actively participate in the testing process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical product development.
• Prior experience in the medical device industry (especially cardiovascular/catheter) is a plus.
• Experience designing high-precision parts and mechanisms is a plus.
• Proficient in applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Expert in SolidWorks CAD software.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of mechanical mechanisms.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with medical device standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Ability to work in both R&D and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environments.
• Fluency in Hebrew and proficiency in English.
• Team player with strong responsibility, creativity, organization, and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
