VP of International Sales

Primary Responsibilities

• Devise and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at boosting revenue growth in international markets, excluding the United States.
• Take charge of overseeing and mentoring a team of sales managers, offering guidance, training, and support to ensure they meet their sales targets.
• Establish and manage a network of distribution partners and customers, fostering effective collaboration and performance through proactive daily field prospecting and timely lead follow-up.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing distributors and customers across various regions to exceed set quotas and expand our market presence.
• Identify and address the challenges and needs of distributors, supplying them with the necessary support and resources for success.
• Develop efficient methodologies and best practices for the sales team and distribution network.
• Continuously explore and assess new business opportunities, markets, and growth channels, conducting market research and monitoring competitor activity.
• Identify and nurture strategic business partnerships to broaden the company’s market reach and offerings.
• Bring a fresh and innovative approach to recognizing new business opportunities, crafting business models, and overcoming market obstacles.


• Hold a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Possess additional certifications and a background in professional development.
• Boast over a decade of experience in capital sales, ideally within the medical device industry.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of Medical Device Industry regulations, market dynamics, and customer requirements.
• Achieve Past President’s Club recognition and/or a top 10% ranking.
• Show extensive experience in collaborating with international distributors and partners.
• Showcase a proven history of surpassing sales targets and delivering exceptional results.
• Exhibit strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Display exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
• Maintain a high level of motivation, ambition, and a positive, proactive attitude.
• Bring innovative and creative ideas to the table for addressing challenges and fostering a dynamic sales environment.
• Have the ability to mentor and inspire sales team members, motivating them to achieve their goals.
• Proactively engage in all aspects of sales, from strategy development to hands-on problem-solving.
• Possess a broad strategic and tactical vision, coupled with strong planning skills.
• Show a business-oriented and goal-driven mindset with high levels of determination.
• Excel in communication and interpersonal skills.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels.

• Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and customer service management (CRM) software.
• Be willing to travel internationally as needed, with an estimated 50% travel requirement.
