Team: Research & Development Manager: Director of Product Development

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design of the system, ensuring it meets product needs, follows industry standards, and complies with regulations.
• Define and implement system requirements and specifications.
• Identify and manage potential risks, working with other teams to ensure product safety and reliability.
• Create and run tests to verify and validate the system design.
• Maintain documentation for the design process, including inputs, outputs, and reviews.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new technologies, and regulations in our field.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required, Master’s preferred (from a well-regarded university).
• At least 6 years of experience in mechanical engineering for medical devices.
• Experience as a System Engineer is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
• Proficiency in CAD software.
• Self-motivated with a passion for innovation and a desire to contribute significantly to the medical device industry.
