The Software Engineer is responsible for software architecture and design, software technical requirements, compliance with standards and regulatory guidelines, software verification and validation and software level failures problem solving. The role reports to the SW group manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Defines software system and sub- systems technical requirements and interfaces.
Plan, design, and configure software components into the company devices and products.
Leads and participates in implement software activities.
Identifies problems and leads the effort to solve software issues.
Contribute or lead process improvement initiatives typically associated with delivery cycle times and efficiency.
Document design solutions and conduct project training and information sharing sessions.
Produce architecture documents based on tenant custom requirements.
Provide engineering support on end- to-end problem resolution and root cause analysis in collaboration with other functional groups, business units and vendors.
Supports the integration team to ensure delivery.
Plans and guides verification & validation efforts.

REQUIREMENTS
BA degree in computer / electrical Engineering.
Minimum 7 years’ experience architecting software components and software modules in Medical Device
Hands on experience in implementing Cloud routing & Hybrid Interconnectivity Architecture
Experience with AWS (Amplify, WAF, Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, S3, Guard Duty)
Experience with Node.js React.js TypeScript
Minimum 5 years’ experience architecting software components and software modules in medical device – must.
Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in team lead / manger
Able to write software documentation, including plans, design inputs and V&V docs.
Able to plan, take decisions and guide team progress.
Able to present ideas clearly and concisely at all levels within the organization.
Able to lead the resolution of complex problems, involving partners both internal and external across multiple systems or processes.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision- making skills with a strong attention to details.
Excellent English written and verbal skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Strong technical leadership, teamwork, negotiating and technical decision- making skills.
Experience in network design, operations and troubleshooting methodologies.
Automation & scripting Experience preferably in Python and Terraform.
