Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage R&D team, reporting to CEO.
• Oversee development of medical devices (disposables & consoles). Disposables include: catheters, flow systems, sensors, cryogenic components, fine mechanics.
• Develop and execute R&D plans.
• Manage lab activities, pilot operations, V&V, animal studies, human studies (collaboration with other management).
• Oversee general ongoing R&D activities.

Qualifications:

• Engineer degree (Biomedical or Mechanical preferred).
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in medical device industry.
• Proven experience with disposable medical device development.
• Experience leading teams and managing subcontractors.
• Strong team leadership and collaborative work style.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on engineering skills.
• Experience with pneumatics and cryogenics.
• Background in heat transfer and flow dynamics.
