Manufacturing Manager

Reports to: VP of Operations

Responsibilities:

• Manage manufacturing planning, material processes, and production schedules.
• Ensure operational alignment with production plans, engineering, and R&D activities.
• Manage manufacturing employees.
• Manage sub-contractors and follow up.
• Ensure full traceability in manufacturing.
• Participate in ECO and MRB activities related to materials, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
• Create, update, and maintain DMRs based on inputs from R&D/engineering teams and manufacturing needs.

Authority:

• Manage manufacturing employees.
• Approve manufacturing plans.
• Allocate resources for manufacturing needs and coordinate with supply chain/suppliers/sub-contractors.
• Manage incoming inspections.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in medical device manufacturing, with a focus on mechanical/electromechanical devices.
• 3+ years of experience as a manufacturing manager or team leader.
• Knowledge of planning and timing materials, product tree structure, project management, and data analysis in Excel.
• Experience with multidisciplinary device manufacturing (implantable devices a plus).
• Experience in ISO 13485 environments (advantageous).
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Multi-tasking, organized, and hands-on approach.
• Startup culture oriented.
• Excellent English language skills (verbal and written).
