Director of Supply Chain Operations

Job Description:

• Design and optimize the complete supply chain lifecycle, encompassing procurement, manufacturing, inventory control, and distribution.
• Plan and coordinate production activities to maximize utilization of available manufacturing capacity.
• Oversee daily supply chain operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure consistent and quality supply.
• Manage import and export activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated and coordinated operational activities.
• Lead and manage the supply chain team.

Scope of Responsibility:

• Responsible for the execution of all supply chain-related functions.
• Manage and develop supply chain personnel.
• Develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives to support product development and market launch.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in operational management within supply chain contexts.
• Significant experience in a senior logistics or operations role within a regulated manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and project management principles.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a proven track record of managing teams and driving projects to completion.
• Experience in import/export and customs procedures is a strong advantage.
